Many schools have received money to purchase iPads for all of their students. The iPad provides students with an electronic way to read texts, take and store notes, access information, and communicate with one another in ways they never have been able to do before. However, providing students with new forms of technology can create new problems as well. For example, many parents claim that schools cannot simply give students such powerful and distracting tools without their permission, since it allows students possible access to content parents would ordinarily restrict. Administrators argue, though, that iPads provide incredible learning opportunities that every responsible school must take advantage of. In your opinion, should schools provide iPads to all of their students?
